Welcome

Currently the Red Sox are up 4-1 over the Yankee's in the top of the 8th. Last game of the series. if the Sox can keep the lead they'll sweep the series. I like this, being a sox fan since an early age. So a bit about myself; I'm 26, single and just about to finish up college. I know, I know I'm 26 and finishing college but hey I'm a late bloomer and I'm quickly becoming ok with that. I originally went to college to pursuit a (bachelors) degree in automotive technology and small business management. But about 3/4 of the way through junior year I started to realize this is not the business I wanna stay in until retirement. Its fun and I enjoy it, just not as a living. There's more out there.
So this brings up my original reason for starting this blog. I'm heading off to Europe for about 2 months. Instead of posting all my pics and updates on facebook, this will be my journal for this trip. I leave from NYC on May 18th and will be heading directly to Dublin for a few days. From there I'll be heading to Brussels. Then its all over Europe; Madrid, Barcelona, Prague, Munich, Stuttgart, Berlin, Copenhagen, and finishing off in Amsterdam.
So why go other than the obvious reasons(sights, culture, experience etc...)? Well to start I need to get outta Boston, not only to clear my head but to get a real perspective on life. Also how much can you really know about yourself if you never get out of your comfort zone. I've been busting my ass between work and school for the last 4 years.
